The 911 center, located on 10th Avenue in Marlinton, sends the radio signal along phone lines to the Thomastown site, where the radio signal is repeated via a 960Mhz link to the Snowshoe tower site. The Thomastown site is also capable of transmitting directly on 155.295 as a back-up site should the Snowshoe site be down for any reason.
